A turn of the century German long running wall clock by "Carl Werner, Uhrenfabrik". One Year time only spring driven triple plate fusee movement with two-part porcelain dial and Roman numerals and embossed Brass bezel. Dial marked "C W, Trade Mark, Patented, One Year Clock". Walnut case with molded pediment over an arched door with carved fluted pilasters, carved lower frieze and gadrooned lower drop with carved finial. Refinished with minor wear, replaced crest, drop and finials, running when cataloged. 39 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE 1,000-2,000

An early 20th century long running Banjo clock, retailed by "Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia". 1-year triple plate single fusee movement attributed to Carl Werner, Villingen, Germany with large barrel spring and cross bar escapement, a convex Silvered dial and Arabic numerals. Mahogany with Brass Eagle finial over a molded Brass dial door and tapered throat panel with reverse painted glass flanked by shaped Brass side arms, lower door with a reverse painted Naval Battle scene over a shaped drop with carved detail. Original finish with minor wear, replaced finial, minor dial wear, running when cataloged. 44 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $1,500-2,500

A turn of the century open well wall clock by "Carl Werner, Uhrenfabrik". 8-day spring driven time and strike movement with arched Brass dial, etched decoration and Roman numerals, cast Brass spandrels and a cast pendulum, serial #82157. Walnut case with applied Brass decoration, arched crest with turned finials over a molded crown and a dial door with beveled glass, applied Dragons and turned pilasters, open well with shaped panel back, turned finials, cutout sides and lower drop. Older refinishing with some wear, replaced crest and finials, running when cataloged. 47" high overall. ESTIMATE $400-600

Mahogany 1 Year Biedermeier Laterndluhr Wall Regulator. 10 in. porcelain dial signed “Johann Schaden, in Wein” has black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial, quality pierced blued hands and fancy gilt brass bezel; fine brass weight driven movement has a polished gilt finish, Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, fancy pierced decorated pendulum crutch, pierced brass pulley, brass covered weight and brass covered pendulum bob with wood stick, pendulum hangs on a knifepoint suspension. In a fine mahogany Laterndluhr style case with striped inlays, in excellent condition and original finish and original glasses. 57 in. high x 14 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep. Weight: 56.5 lbs.

A late 20th century Biedermeier style Laterndluhr wall clock. Year running double weight movement with knife edge suspension, Bi-metallic pendulum and convex porcelain dial with Roman numerals marked "Anton Fresar, In Wien". Figured Mahogany case with Satinwood banding features a slide off hood with molded pediment above an arched lift out waist door and square lower door and a shaped lower drop. Re-polished finish with minor veneer bubbles, some older repair, hairlines in dial, running when cataloged. 56" high overall. ESTIMATE $4,000-6,000

Jugendstil Period carved Walnut case with pierced floral crest over dial door with circular glass and carved floral detail, pierced apron and shaped carved drop.
