A 19th century C. & L. C. Ives shelf clock. 8-day weight driven Strap Brass time and strike movement with painted wooden dial with Arabic numerals. Mahogany case with a scrolled stenciled crest over a dial door with clear dial glass, mirrored center panel with turned columns and reverse painted lower door on a flat base. Paper label 60% intact. Older refinishing with minor damage, minor dial wear, restored crest, lacks corner block tops, running when cataloged. 36" high. ESTIMATE $300-400
