Chauncey Jerome Mahogany OG Mantle Clock. Painted metal dial has a 7 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and old pierced hands; brass weight driven movement, count wheel hour strike mechanism, iron weights and brass covered pendulum bob. Mahogany O.G. style case has nicely grained veneer and reverse painted tablet in the door showing – Merchants Exchange, Philadelphia – glass is original with original paint, no inpainting, has some flaking; original finish and good condition. 25 in. high x 17 in. wide.

Jerome, New Haven, CT. Brass time only spring driven movement, repousse filigree brass covered pendulum bob; movement is inverted with long drop pendulum hanging from the top with crutch pointing upwards and escapement at the bottom of the movement, signed “Chauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn”. In a mahogany case with dark alligatored finish, original reverse painted door glass having some minor inpainting and overall white paint spatters. 12 in. high.
