Bronze Repeater Carriage Clock. 2-inch enamel dial is surrounded by a gilt filigree engraved panel, has black Arabic numerals, brass 8-day spring driven movement with platform lever escapement. Signed on the dial, “West & Son, Dublin” and signed on the movement, “E.G.L Paris.” In a gilt bronze case with hinged handle, fluted corner columns having Corinthian capitals, beveled glass on the front, sides and aperture on top where the escapement can be viewed. Case finish is worn and tarnished in some areas. Missing rear door glass. Dimensions: 3 1/2 in. wide x 6 in. high x 3 3/8 in. deep. Weight: 4.10 lbs.

Brass 1 Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. 2.25″ blue porcelain dial signed “Tilden Thurber & Co., Providence” with gilt brass hands and set in a 2 tone silvered and gilt filigree engraved panel; brass 8 day spring driven movement has a platform lever escapement and half hour strike on a coiled gong with repeater. In a gilt brass case with hinge handle and beveled glass on the front, sides, rear door and top, exposing the escapement. Very good overall condition, running and striking. 6.25″ high x 4″ wide x 3.5″ deep. Weight: 4.5 lbs.

Gilt Bronze and Porcelain Repeater Carriage Clock. Clock has scenic, hand-painted porcelain panels on both sides and front, depicting a bird with a lake in the background, the front panel has 1 7/8-inch dial with black hour numerals and sub alarm dial, depicts a lake scene with a house in the distance. The top has an oval beveled glass where the escapement can be viewed. In a gilt brass case with hinged handle and beveled glass on the front and rear door. Quality brass movement with platform lever escapement. Dimensions: 3 1/4 in. wide x 5 1/2 in. high x 2 7/8 in. deep. Weight: 3 lbs.

French Bronze Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. 2.5 in. porcelain dial with black hour numerals and sub alarm, day and date calendar dials. French brass spring driven movement signed “Dent, France 1474” has a platform lever escapement, half hour bell strike with hour repeater button on top of the case and has an alarm mechanism. In a fine gilt bronze case with pierced decorated filigree, hinged handle, winged maiden’s heads and claw feet; beveled glass panels on the front, back and sides, exposing the escapement through the glass top. In good overall condition, runs, strikes, alarm is not working. 7 in. high x 4.75 in. wide x 4.25 in. deep. Weight: 5.75 lbs.

Bronze case in the form of a sedan chair, 2 tone silvered and gilt bronze finish with beveled glass on 3 sides, oval repousse panels with figural putti and a scrolled crest with fleur-de-lis finial.
