Bronze Mounted Marble Mantle Clock. 6 in. black marble dial with gold Roman hour numerals, fancy pierced brass hands, open center exposes the movement and has a polychrome brass bezel with beveled crystal; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “S. Marti et Cie” has an half hour strike on a bell and is in running condition. In a 2 tone black and rouge marble case with bronze lion’s head mounts on the sides. Few corner chips and filled chips at the corners, missing ring handles hanging from the lion’s mouths; missing key, bell and pendulum. Dimensions: 14.25″ high x 16″ wide x 7.75″ deep. Weight: 62 lbs.

In a pink marble case with bronze mounted gilt filigree, ribbon, rose and torch crest, bowed ribbons on the sides, floral basket front mount and stands on turned feet. Movement is not running, missing balance wheel, chips around winding hole, case in good condition with no damage. 7″ high x 4″ wide x 2.5″ deep. Weight: 3.5 lbs.

Serpentine form case has an amber-gilt lacquered finish hand painted with roses and filigree throughout, front panel with a man and woman dancing in the forest as a seated musician plays; has a bronze mounted comical oriental figure of a man holding an umbrella on the top of the case with rococo filigree corner mounts and figural winged griffins on the sides. 6.5 in. brass dial signed ÂJ.E. Caldwell & Co. PhiladelphiaÂ has applied porcelain hour numerals and 5 minute numbers, brass door bezel with convex crystal; round brass spring driven movement is signed with initials ÂJLFÂ in the sails of a ship, has an half hour strike on a coiled gong.
