An early 20th century British mahogany hall clock. 8-day time and strike movement with quarter hour striking on nine tubular chimes in Westminster, Whittington or St. Michael tunes, brass dial with cast spandrels, silvered chapter ring and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with arched crown over a conforming upper door flanked by turned columns above a long door with applied lattice and a base with raised panel and shaped bracket feet. Old finish with minor wear, movement very dirty, not running when cataloged. 81" high. ESTIMATE $800-1,200

Seth Thomas No. 21 Hall Regulator. 12 in. silvered dial with black roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial, spade minute hand and pierced hour hand. Large brass weight driven movement has deadbeat escapement, retaining power, lantern pinions, quarter hour chime on 4 cupped bells and coiled cathedral gong hour strike; movement is mounted on an iron bracket, has quality brass pulleys, brass covered weights and 2 jar cut glass coin spot mercurial pendulum. In a tall carved mahogany case with filigree carved crest having raised burled panels, rosettes and corner finials, turned columns on the bonnet door, beveled glass on the lower door, false base with door in the front and stands on carved claw feet. Has a cleaned and enhanced finish, in good overall condition, feet are replaced. 94 in. high x 18 in. wide x 12.5 in. deep.

In a tall carved mahogany case with filigree carved crest having raised burled panels, rosettes and corner finials, turned columns on the bonnet door, beveled glass on the lower door, raised panel base with door in the front and stands on carved claw feet. Case is stamped on the back with the number Â12 and stenciled with serial number Â58811Â, has a cleaned and enhanced finish, in good overall condition, repair to the crest. 94 in. high x 18 in. wide x 12.5 in. deep.
