English Double Fusee Bracket Mantle Clock. Brass inlaid rosewood case with gilt brass rosette and ring handles on the sides with pineapple finial. Dial has an 8 in. silvered chapter ring with engraved center, fancy pierced hands and incised black Roman hour numerals; signed Ben Thorpe – Wiscombe. Heavy quality brass double fusee movement has good chains, Graham deadbeat escapement, quality heavy brass pendulum and hour strike mechanism with repeater, having a large steel bell and teardrop hammer. In very good working condition. 19 in. high x 11 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep
