An unusual cast bronze and milk glass clock made for mounting onto a gaslight outlet, illuminating the dial so as to tell time at night. Complete with frame that would fit onto the gas outlet and in a fitted mahogany box. Circa 1865. Cracks to the milk glass dial.

Gilt brass and cut crystal stand with rosettes and round bezel; has a 4.25 in. milk glass dial with black Roman hour numerals on the chapter ring and open black hands. Round brass movement signed on the back “E.G. Zimmermann, Frankfurt A.M.”. Dial is illuminated with a brass candleholder on the back of the case. Clock is in overall good condition with a small chip on the back corner; dial has minor inpainting at the Â10Â numeral. 12.25 in. high. Weight: 2 lbs.

3 Pc. Sevres Figural Porcelain Night Clock. Porcelain figure of a kneeling woman has a teal blue finish with gilt embellishments, mounted on top is a brass frame containing a 4 in. frosted glass dial with black Roman numerals, has a Swiss spring driven movement with lever escapement and open trefoil hands; the crest has a brass ribbon with porcelain lovebirds on top, behind the dial is an arm containing a candle holder which lights up the dial from behind. Set is complete with a pair of figural putti candle holders, the standing robed putti is holding a bunch of wheat; signed with Sevres mark on the base. Clock appears in good working condition, balance swings freely with nice brisk motion. 15 in. high
