Single Fusee Brass Skeleton Clock w/ Dome. 6 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, black hands, fancy pierced brass plates, single fusee 8 day spring driven movement with anchor escapement, brass covered pendulum bob with brass pendulum stick and passing hour drop hammer strike with a brass bell at the top and halberd strike hammer. In running condition, has a fusee rope, on an ebonized wood base, replaced glass dome. 19.5 in. high x 11.75 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.

Reproduction Single Fusee Skeleton Clock. 5 in. porcelain dial with open center signed ÂWm. Smith, Musselburg, Maker & InventorÂ, has blued spade hands, exposed gilt skeletonized time only movement with deadbeat escapement, single fusee train is powered by a long helical spring stretched up from the marble platform through the center of the case with a fusee chain and pulley, cylindrical brass covered pendulum bob with steel rod. On a round marble base with square platform, raised on 6 elegant columns guarding the spring with the movement seated on the top platform of the column and under a glass dome. In running condition. 23 in. high.
