Brass Animated Bird Box w/ Alarm Clock. Brass case with elegant decoration on the top and side panels, oval hinged lid on the top lifts up and exposes the small animated feathered bird which flaps its wings and swivels back and forth while whistling a tune. In good condition, has a nice gilt finish with no damage or losses, bird has nice brisk movement and good strong sound. The top of the case has 2 posts raising up an oval timepiece w/ alarm & 2 in. x 1.75 in. dial; has a lever in the side connecting to the bird mechanism below through one of the side posts and switched the bird “on” acting as a pleasant alarm. In good condition and all individual mechanisms are running, the alarm is not properly connected to the on/off lever. 6.5 in. high.
