Complex industrial clocks were very popular since the industrialization in the 19th century
Condition:
The clock is in a good condition according to age. The agate base is slightly chipped. The case shows a patina due to age. The reverse and the underside show soldering marks. The globe is slightly rubbed off. The watch glass is somewhat scratched. During a short-term test, the devices were functional, but long-term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed. The overall dimensions, including base and globe, are 29 x 26.5 x 12.5 cm. (cko)

French Combination Barometer/Compass Carriage Clock: the movement is marked D.H. France. There is beveled glass on all sides. The cases are mounted on a brown marble base and is 5 1/4″ x 6 5/8″. A key is stored in the barometer case’s back. The compass on top is in working order. The clock has a 2″ dial and is running at this time.
