Bradley & Hubbard Blinking Eye Clock. Continental Blinking Eye Clock. Figural painted cast iron case depicts a man wearing a deep blue jacket, orange trousers with blue socks and a hat. 4 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals and open moon hands; has a French brass 8 day spring driven movement with half hour bell strike, counterweight above the pendulum and movement signed Marti & Co. and also signed Machenaud, Paris. Case is signed Bradley & Hubbard, has some paint chipping and inpainting; movement is not original to the clock and eyes are not animated and has a chip in the back of the hat. 16 in. high.

Paper dial with black Roman hour numerals and fancy black hands, has a 30 hour brass, spring driven, time only movement with balance wheel escapement, a lever attached to the escapement rocks the eyes open and closed. Repainted case is signed Bradley & Hubbard; movement is not running. 16 in. high.

Original 3″ paper dial with black Roman hour numerals and hinged door bezel with glass; pierced brass 30 hour spring driven time only movement has a lever escapement, a lever attached to the escapement animates the eyes rocking them up and down. In a cast iron “Admiral” case in the figure of a man wearing a hat with red jacket and green trousers; signed “Bradley & Hubbard, Patented July 14, 1857”. Good overall condition, worn original paint, running. 16″ high x 8.5″ wide x 5.5″ deep.
