A Turner’s Patent brass-cased Homing Pigeon clock. Early 20th century, having a 4.5-inch silvered dial with Arabic main dial and three subsidiaries, over engraved title and winged arrow motif, the drumhead case with bale handle, the backplate stamped “HATELEY’S PATENT No. 14307/07″, additionally stamped 1.632, 6”, (15cm) diameter, depth and height, sold with double-ended winding key.
Condition
Dial – some minor tarnish spotting, plus a scratch near title. Movement not accessed and cannot be guaranteed, sold as seen. Case has a number of tight cracks to bras collar but these may be joins in the metal. There are two dints to the bezel. Dome minor dirt to brass, otherwise sound. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any clocks sold.
French brass cased rotary desk clock, back marked Sonnerie, movement marked Brevete S.D.G.D. and numbered 439.
