Circa 1920 American Boston Clock Company 8 Day Mantel Clock with 3.5″ Original enamel dial with gilt center ring, Rare tandem wind spring driven gong strke movement, Bombe shaped striped onyx case with gilt cast applied decorations and stylized paw feet. Good condition with normal wear, small hairlines on dial. Needs cleaning. 11″H x 13″W x 5″D

Boston Slate Tandem Wind Mantel Clock: It has one keyhole and an unmarked paper dial. In a slate case with metal ornaments and a mask. There is a key and pendulum with the clock.
(The clock is wound tight and is not running at this time. There are chips on the back corner of the case. there is a crack on one side and glue residue on the back. The dial has a small chip.)

A rare 11″ mantel clock by Boston Clock Company with a brass and bevel glass case containing a rare 1880 patented “tandem wind” clockworks, wherein the single winding arbor engages both the time and strike mechanism by winding springs in both directions. Having a balance wheel escapement.

Boston Clock Co. “Delphus” Tandem Wind Crystal Regulator. Dial has a 4 in. porcelain chapter ring with black hour numbers, gilt brass pierced filigree center with lions head and original black hands; the brass spring driven movement has fancy silvered & engraved plates, lever escapement and half hour rack & snail strike mechanism on a coiled gong. Movement is signed Boston Clock Co. and numbered 3899; in a gilt brass case with beveled glasses, corner columns and beaded trim work. Movement is double spring wound though a single arbor; movement is wound tight and not running. 10.75 in. high x 7.5 in. wide x 5.75 in. deep.
