French Empire Black Marble Portico Clock. 4 in. brass dial with black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and fancy gilt bronze bezel; quality round brass 8 day spring driven time only movement with Graham deadbeat escapement, long cast bronze gridiron pendulum has a leafy decorated bob and beat adjustment on the crutch. In a black marble case with 4 long columns having gilt bronze capitols, feet and pierced filigree mounts. Has a few minor chips to the case corners, but overall in very nice condition. 16.5 in. high x 9 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.
