Bigelow & Kennard Mahogany Bracket Clock. 7 in. silvered dial is signed “Bigelow, Kennard & Co.” with applied gilt brass hour numbers, engraved gilt brass center, pierced brass filigree panel below with 2.5 in. sub dials for “Silent, Chime” & St. Michael, Wittington, Westminster” chimes. Quality brass 8 day triple chain fusee movement striking the indicated chime on a nest of 8 bells, rack of 8 coiled gongs and the hour on a cathedral gong. In a wonderful carved mahogany case with elegant filigree finial, domed top with filigree carved panels, turned corner columns, carved door with beveled glass and carved feet. Case has an excellent original finish, some minor carving losses on the finial and trim work, time mechanism is running and clean though the clock is not striking. 27 in. high x 18 in. wide x 13 in. deep.
