Biedermeier Style Laterndluhr Regulator. 8 in. silvered dial with open center having three sub dials including a sub seconds dial, 30-day dial, dial indicating the day of the week, blued hands and gilt brass bezel; brass weight driven movement has steel pendulum rod with brass covered bob and spoked brass pulley with brass covered weight. In a trapezoidal shaped mahogany Laterndluhr case with maple inlays on the edges. Good overall refinished condition with a French polish, original glasses, weight replaced and not running. Dimensions: 57 in. high x 13 in. wide x 7 in. deep. Weight: 40.90 lbs.

Mahogany Laterndluhr Biedermeier Regulator. 7 in. porcelain dial signed ÂFranz Denk in WeinÂ, has black Roman hour numerals, blued hands and gilt engine turned bezel; brass 8 day weight driven movement has a deadbeat escapement, grande sonnerie strike on 2 blued coiled gongs, pendulum hangs on a knife edge suspension with a long steel pendulum rod, brass covered bob and 3 brass covered weights hanging from brass 5 spoke pulleys. Mahogany case with maple inlaid striping, in good condition, case has an old French polished finish. 40.5 in. high x 11 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.

A mid 19th century gilt wood and framed two day 19th century Austrian wall clock, 18″ in height and 15″ long. The porcelain and pressed brass dial has an automation Cupid, who hammers arrows when the clock strikes. The “picture frame” casement has a glazed door opening outward to carved gilt wood and pressed brass decorations, including a lenticle with the swinging pendulum.
