Bawo & Dotter Carved Mahogany Grandfather Clock. 12 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers outside, inner calendar ring, black hands, sweep seconds hand and moon phase dial at the top; dial is painted on the corner spandrels with seated female figures on a scenic background, scenic & seascape views on the moon phase disc. Brass 8 day weight driven movement signed with trade mark ÂB&DÂ over ÂElite, 179811Â, has a Graham deadbeat escapement, half hour strike on a bell at the top of the movement, brass pulleys, brass covered weights and a brass covered pendulum bob with long steel stick. In a mahogany case having an arched top on the bonnet, turned brass finial, inset reverse painted & gold leaf filigree panels on the arch and turned columns with brass capitols; the case body has turned quarter columns, large raised door panel, pierced carved border panels and stands on elegant ball & claw feet. In very good condition, case has a beautiful enhanced original finish, has some losses to the pierced carved borders; c.1890-1910, dial and reverse painted panels are very clean. 99.5 in. high x 20 in. wide x 10.5 in. deep.

Hershchede Pattern 50 Mahogany 9 Tube Grandfather Clock. 12 in. silvered dial signed ÂThe Frank Herschede Co., CincinnatiÂ with applied brass hour numbers, silvered sub seconds dial, moon phase with silvered arch, sub dials for Chime/Silent & Westminster/Whittington chimes, brass back plate with fancy pierced gilt brass filigree decorated center and corner spandrels and pierced hands; brass weight driven movement marked ÂGermanyÂ has Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, quality brass weights, pulleys and pendulum bob with steel pendulum stick and has 9 silvered tubes signed ÂHerschede Hall Clock, Cincinnati, O, Crown Symphony TubeÂ. In a beautiful carved mahogany case with arched bonnet top, medallion crest, carved filigree on the frieze, pierced carved side panels and turned columns on the corners with carved capitols; the body has a long beveled glass door with turned columns having carved capitols, inset carved panel in the base with turned corner columns and stands on carved claw feet. In very good condition, case has an excellent original finish. 88.5 in. high x 27 in. wide x 18 in. deep.

Ritchie, ArbroathÂ with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial over a sub calendar dial, fancy pierced gilt hands, painted flowers on the corner spandrels and on the dial arch; brass 8 day spring driven movement with half hour strike on an iron bell at the top of the movement, has iron weights, brass pulleys and a brass covered pendulum bob with a steel stick. In a mahogany case having a carved broken arched crest with brass eagle, ball finial & turned columns on the bonnet; case has turned quarter columns with an inset door panel and inset panel on the base, has an enhanced original finish, missing corner finials. 66 in. high x 19 in. wide x 9.5 in. deep.

Brass dial has a 12 in. silvered chapter ring with black incised Roman hour numerals and 5 minute numbers outside, brass sub seconds dial pierced filigree with cherubs heads on the corner spandrels, dolphins on the arch and sub dial for Silent/Chime; has original pierced hands and signed on a silvered tag Lloyd Payne Amiel, Manchester. Brass 8 day weight driven movement has a recoil escapement, rack strike on a coiled gong, quality brass pulleys, missing the 2 weights and has a steel pendulum rod with brass bob. In a Sheraton style inlaid mahogany case with broken arched crest on the bonnet, turned brass center finial, chamfered corners and pierced carved side panels; the body of the case has an urn and filigree inlaid design with griffins head on the door and fancy inlaid design in the base. In good condition, has an age crack in the base and a polished original finish. 90 in. high x 20 in. wide x 14 in. deep.

Brass dial has a 12 in. silvered chapter ring with applied brass hour numbers, sub seconds dial and moon phase dial, fancy pierced swirling leaf decoration in the center of the dial and spandrels, has fancy pierced black hour and minute hands, sub seconds dial, Chime/Silent lever and singed ÂCamerden & Foster, New YorkÂ on a silvered plaque. Quality brass movement strikes on 5 blued coiled gongs, has 3 quality brass weights and pulleys, brass pendulum bob with steel stick and signed ÂJ.J. Elliot, EnglandÂ. In an oak case with high arched crest having fancy carved designs with ribbons and wreaths, turned finials at the top and the bonnet has 2 turned columns on either side of the door; the body has leaf carving at the shoulder, spiral turned columns, beveled door glass and fancy carved base on claw feet. In very good condition and original finish. 98.5 in. high x 22.5 in. wide x 13 in. deep.
