German – 1890 – 14.25" Tall. We have never seen this charming clock before. Made of both a lead alloy and the bell arm cast iron. The clock works, but the arm ringing the bell to acknowledge the hour is not working.

Painted wood dial has a 10 in. chapter ring with black Arabic hour numbers with gilt center embellishments and spandrels, pierced diamond hands; wooden works movement has count wheel strike mechanism on a coiled gong, brass covered pendulum bob. In a mahogany case with scrolled crest, turned finials, long turned & ebony half columns with gilt stenciling; reverse painted tablet with some paint flaking. Paper label for Chauncy Ives, Bristol Conn. Overcoat on the original alligatored finish; missing weights. 33.5 in. x high x 16.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
