Pure Art Deco from the 1920s or 30s, on the brass back is Made For the Balke Collender Co., New York Chicago, 273 stamped in the wooden surface on the back. Mahogany case resembling Redwood, 8 day movement with round beveled glass covering the dial. 15″ tall by 13 1/2″ wide. Brunswick, the maker of fine pool tables, acquired this company, this may have been some sort of high end pool room clock.
