B.D. Bingham American Banjo Clock. 12 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial and open moon hands; quality brass weight driven pyramidal movement has a deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, quality brass pulley, typical iron weight and large brass covered pendulum bob with wood stick, movement signed “B.D. Bingham, Clock, Maker, Nashua”. In a large mahogany banjo style case, similar to the E. Howard No. 1, with round door bezel, hinged throat and reverse painted lower door glass with black, gold leaf and open center exposing the pendulum bob. In good condition, minor repairs at the top of the pendulum bob and has a ding in the top of the pendulum, original finish and minor flaking to the door glass. 48 in. long.
