Gustav Becker Grande Sonnerie Vienna Regulator. 7 in. inset porcelain dial with Roman hour numerals, brass bezel and pierced black hands; quality 8 day weight driven movement signed ÂGustav BeckerÂ, has square brass plates and a grande sonnerie strike on 2 straight gongs, long wood pendulum stick, brass covered bob, 3 quality brass pulleys and brass covered weights. In a walnut case with carved crest. Turned carved and fluted half columns on the corners and a carved lower bracket with turned teardrop finials. In good condition, case has an enhanced original finish, with no losses, movement is running and striking. 55 in. high x 18 in. wide x 8 in. deep.

The highly carved Biedermeier influence case with stylized shell carved crest over burled arching crown above conforming front door adorned in applied carvings and shaped glass, lower bracket with ripple molding, richly figured veneers and scroll carving pediment. The 8 day time and strike 'Blind Man's movement fronted by a porcelain enamel dial with Roman numeral chapter ring enclosed by a fine ormolu bezel, ebonized pendulum stick with large brass bob, enameled beat plate.

Measures 48 x 12 x 6 inches.

Grande Sonnerie Vienna Regulator. 6.5 in. inset porcelain dial with brass bezel, black painted Roman hour numerals and fancy pierced hands; brass weight driven movement has a deadbeat escapement, grande sonnerie strike on 2 coiled gongs, repeat lever, beat adjustment on the crutch, long brass & silvered gridiron pendulum with engraved straps and pendulum bob, brass pulleys and quality brass weights. In a large carved walnut case with filigree carved arched crest, turned corner columns on the door and carved lower bracket with teardrop finials. In good condition, movement is running and striking, hairline in the center of the dial, no breaks or repairs to the case which has an overcoated original finish, replaced side glasses. 66 in. long 19.5 in. wide x 9 in. deep.

Case has an enhanced finish with some restoration & worm holes, replaced glasses and seat board brackets are mounted with reinforcement straps. 52 in. high x 16.5 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

Exceptional Grande Sonnerie Repeater Carriage Clock. Filigree engraved oval brass case has beveled and curved glass on the front, sides and rear door as well as on top of the case exposing the escapement; 2.25 in. diameter porcelain dial signed “??, Budapest” has 3 sub dials for the alarm and perpetual calendar with days and dates. Quality French brass spring driven movement with platform lever escapement, quarter hour grand sonnerie strike on 2 coiled gongs, quarter hour grand sonnerie repeater button on top of the case and separate spring for the alarm mechanism; under the bottom of the case is a switch to select Silent, Petite Sonnerie or Grand Sonnerie. In excellent working condition, has small chip on the corner edge of the front and rear glass. 6.25 in. high x 5 in. wide x 4.25 in. deep. Weight: 5 lbs.
