Miniature Aug. Moreau Figural Mystery Swing Clock. Standing spelter figure of a young messenger boy with a bag slung over his shoulder, signed ÂAug. Moreau and marked ÂFrance, the figure holds up the gridiron clock pendulum with ball top containing the brass 8 day spring driven time only movement; has applied brass Roman hour numerals on the 2.5 in. dial. In good condition, figure has a good medium dark brown finish and the movement is running. 12.5 in. high.

Guilmet Figural Time And Strike 8 Day Mystery Clock. Circa 1880. Heavy black incised marble mantle case with brass handles on the sides. Has a marble dial with etched numerals and brass bezel, beveled door glass and gilt hands. Standing on top is a gilded figure holding a long pendulum with a beveled glass bob. The pendulum swings, which rocks the figure slightly and engages the escapement; the platform and plate are numbered 4737. The 8 day, half hour time and bell-strike movement bears the marks of Guilmet and is numbered 4296. The case and the movement are in very clean condition. 24 in. high

Has a marble dial with etched numerals and brass bezel, beveled door glass and gilt hands. Standing on top is a spelter figure of a woman holding a long pendulum with a beveled glass bob. The pendulum swings rotating the plate under the figure slightly and engages the escapement; the platform plate and figure are numbered 3779. The 15 day, half hour time and bell-strike movement bears the marks of Guilmet and is numbered 5707. The case and the movement are in very clean condition. 24.5 in. high

Aug. Moreau Figural Putti Mantle Clock. Standing figure of a child, leaning back slightly with a large green painted sphere hanging from a rope held in the figures right arm. The sphere acts as the clock dial with applied brass Roman hour numerals and swirling pierced gilt filigree hands; has a round brass, spring driven movement, cylinder escapement, count wheel half hour strike mechanism with steel bell. In good running condition, has an excellent original finish, figure signed Auguste Moreau. 17 in. high.
