Attr. U.S. Clock Co. regulator clock case in walnut with ornamental pediment crest, large turned finials, turned and burled columns on either side of the door. Good overall condition with an enhanced original finish. 88 in. high x 39 in. wide x 17.5 in. deep.

Attr. Simon Willard 5′ Weight Driven Banjo Clock
American Mahogany 8 Day Weight Driven Banjo Regulator Wall Clock, Attr: Simon Willard, Massachusetts. 12 in. painted metal dial inscribed “Simon Willard, Roxbury” with black Roman hour numerals, 3 in. sub seconds dial and fine quality blued hands. Brass 8 day weight driven time only regulator movement with Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, keystone with T-bridge suspension, gilt wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob, lockdown hardware and lead weight hanging from a brass pulley. The banjo style case has a flanged door bezel, hinged throat and lower door with reverse painted black and gold leaf on old wavy glass; clock is topped with a carved fluer de lis finial. Case finish has been scrubbed and overcoated, missing lock for dial door bezel with small veneer missing beside the key hole area, bottom of case shows impact damage and repair from weight, original glasses with restoration to the paint and gold leaf; has door keys, dial appears original with original signature. Dimensions: 61 in. high x 20.5 in. wide x 6.25 in. deep.

In a rosewood long drop-octagon wall hanging case with gold and black reverse painted lower tablet. Dial repainted, replaced movement, replaced tablet, weight damage in bottom of case which has an enhanced original finish. 33.25″ high x 15.5″ wide x 5″ deep. Weight: 20.5 lbs.

In a large size banjo style case with reverse painted black and gold leaf tablet and throat glass. Case refinished, has weight damage restoration to the base, old replaced dial, missing lockdown hardware and repair to the head of the case at the top and left side; original glasses have touchup to gold and overpainted black. 43.5″ high x 13.75″ wide x 5″ deep.
