Howard & Davis No. 2 Weight Driven Banjo Clock. 10″ painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals and open moon hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement is stamped with letter “F”, has a recoil escapement, solid brass pulley with iron No. 2 weight and long ebonized wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob. In a large size banjo style case with reverse painted black and gold leaf tablet and throat glass. Case refinished, has weight damage restoration to the base, old replaced dial, missing lockdown hardware and repair to the head of the case at the top and left side; original glasses have touchup to gold and overpainted black. 43.5″ high x 13.75″ wide x 5″ deep. Weight: 35.75 lbs.

In a rosewood banjo style case having black & gilt reverse painted door and throat glasses; bottom of case and door are loose; glasses are repainted and pendulum stick is repainted, in very good original finish and good running condition. 44 in. high.

Original 12 in. painted metal dial signed ÂHoward & Davis, BostonÂ, has blued open moon hands; quality weight driven time only 8 day movement with pyramidal plates, Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, Geneva stop, brass pulley, iron No. 1 weight, wood weight baffles with brass lockdown hardware, gold painted pendulum stick and brass covered bob. In a rosewood grained banjo style case with hinged flanged door bezel, original reverse painted gilt and black throat glasses and tablet signed ÂHoward & Davis, BostonÂ. In good condition with a cleaned and enhanced original finish, case veneer has minor seam splits in the round top, original glasses are excellent, lower door frame has been repaired along the hinge, tabs securing the throat are replaced. 50 in. high x 19.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.
