New Haven Crystal Regulator  Thoreau. 4 in. inset porcelain dial signed ÂNew Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., USAÂ, has original black hands, black hour numbers and an exposed Brocot escapement with brass pallets; round brass 8 day spring driven movement is unsigned, has an half hour rack & snail strike on a coiled gong, brass 2 jar mercurial pendulum, in good running condition.Cast white metal case having a gilt painted finish with finial top, flowing rococo filigree on the top and base, beveled glass on the sides and on the front & rear doors. In good condition and running, screw securing the pendulum bob is replaced. 15 in. high.
