A late 19th century Gilbert "Star Drop" model wall clock. 8-day time only movement with a papered metal dial, and Roman numerals. Walnut case with ten-sided top and applied leaf carvings with shaped drop over a single door and stenciled Owl glass. Older refinishing some minor wear, dial re-papered, running when cataloged. 32 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $300-400

Antique weight driven mirror wall clock with reverse painted tablet surrounding round dial, gold gilt and black columns all around and mirror. There is an extensive ownership history of this clock written in pencil on the inside of the door dating back to the early 1800s. William Stevens from West Newbury, Mass. was the last listed owner in the lineage. Beautiful antique wall clock! Measures approx. 31″ tall x 15″ wide x 5″ deep
