A 19th century George Marsh shelf clock. 30 hr time and strike weight driven wooden movement with painted wooden dial. Mahogany case with shaped stenciled crown above a single door with clear upper and mirrored lower glasses, flanked by stenciled half columns. Older finish in fair condition, some veneer loss. 33 1/2″ high.

George Marsh & Co. 2 Door Column Clock: 8 day wood works with bell strike, interior label, 10 1/4″ wood dial. The case is mahogany and veneer with shell columns and carved eagle splat. With weights and pendulum. No key.

(Not running properly. There are extra holes in the backboard. The label has stains and darkening. The wood finish is original and has some scuffs and scrapes.)

George Marsh Shelf Clock: Mahogany veneer case with hallow columns for the weights. Brass 8 day weight driven movement with strike. George Marsh was from Farmington, Conn. Circa 1830’s. There is a good interior label.

(The dial is a modern replacement as well as the door hinge. The decoration on the lower plate is worn and the veneer on the left column has some creases.)

George Hatch American Weight Driven Banjo Clock. Original 7 in. metal dial (old repaint) has black Roman hour numerals and pierced hands; typical 8 day brass weight driven time only banjo clock movement with recoil escapement, iron weight, brass pulley, long wood pendulum stick with brass bob and partial lockdown hardware. In a mahogany, banjo style case with round door bezel with original glass, reverse painted throat glass and reverse painted lower door glass are both original with some paint flaking and no inpainting; case is stamped “D.L.W.” for David L. Williams. Case has an enhanced original finish, pendulum stick is replaced, throat has a split at the lower left screw hole. 29 in. high x 11 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.
