The case has a lady with an ornate headdress seated on a chair with swan corners and tasseled pillows. The base has a floral garland and floral corners. The skirt of the clock has shells and scrolls. Not tested.

French Slate & Marble Clock w/Lady Musician: the 4″ porcelain dial with visible escapement is over a gong and striking movement. Marked L.Marti & Cie, 871.

(The dial is scratched and dirty. The top figure is glued into place. The case has spots on it and a couple of nick edges.
