DESCRIPTION: An antique French gilt bronze garniture clock set in the style of Louis XV, features a mantel clock with blue Roman Numeral markers. The clock is accompanied by a pair of gilt bronze eight light candelabra with scroll arm candle holders and center instrument decorations. Features a pendulum movement, stamped: "Popon, A Paris" The clock case with floral ornate detailing and with several arts theme motif, depicting three cherub figures, one of each representing a different art field. One cherub holds a brush and an art palette representing the art of painting, a second cherub holds a chisel and bust, representing sculpture, and third cherub is holding a violin representing music.
