Ansonia Figural Mantle Clock – Cincinnatus. Black enamel iron base with seated spelter figure of Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus on top, clock tower to the right. 4.5 in. inset porcelain dial signed “Ansonia Clock Co.”, has black Roman hour numerals, fancy gilt brass filigree hands and an exposed Brocot escapement having steel pallets; brass 8 day spring driven movement with half hour strike on a coiled gong, has key & pendulum, in running condition. Base has some chipping to the finish, feet are replaced. 16 in. high x 18.5 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep. Weight: 29.5 lbs.
