A late 19th century Ansonia "Triumph" model Victorian period shelf clock. 8-day Brass time and strike movement with papered metal dial and Roman numerals. Walnut Mirror Side case with carved crest and turned finals over a single arched door with Gold decoration on a molded base with cast mask and cherub figures. Older refinishing with minor wear, replaced cherub figures, dial discoloration, running when cataloged. 23 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $200-400

The clock is running and striking at this time.

(The hour and half hour strike are reversed. The case is cracked where the dial screw holes are. One drop finial is not original to the clock.)
