Ansonia Double Figure Mantle Clock “Summer & Winter”. Pr. standing maiden figures, one of a woman wearing a winter dress blowing in the breeze, she holds a bundle of wheat under her arm and a shawl over her shoulder, the other stands among tall grass with a bundle of flowers in her arms; the figures are turned facing the center of the case with the large clock tower in the center. Original verde green patinated case. Has a 5 in. inset porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, fancy pierced gilt hands and exposed Borcot escapement; brass spring driven 8 day movement signed Ansonia Clock Co. and strikes on a coiled gong. 22 in. high x 24 in. wide x 7 in. deep.
