Counter Top Cigar Cutter Clock, “King Alfred”: The top has a Waterbury tin can clock with a set key wind movement; a paper dial and 2nds bit. It is surrounded by a cast iron ring that reads “King Alfred 10? Cigar”. The cast iron base has a push down arm cutter.
In working condition.
(The cutter has been repainted. The base has words around the drop door but they are not legible.)

Chauncey & Goodrich Mahogany Cigar Box Shelf Clock. 4 in. repainted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals and fancy blued hands; brass spring driven 30 hour movement, unsigned with count wheel hour strike mechanism on a coiled gong, brass covered pendulum bob. In a mahogany case with overhanging cornice top, original reverse painted tablet with scene of Buckingham Palace, glass side panels over mirrored side panels and paper label in the back of the case for Chauncey & Goodrich, Bristol, CT. 3 of 4 side panels are cracked, mirrors have some silver touchups and losses, case is in nice refinished condition, movement and strike not running. 13.5 in. high x 9 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Old Coon Cigar Advertising Clock. 5.5 in. paper dial with Arabic hour numbers and pierced spade hands, dial reads 5 Cent Cigar. Brass spring driven movement has a countwheel strike mechanism with coiled gong half hour strike, brass covered pendulum bob, movement signed Sessions Clock Co. Forestville, Conn. In a carved walnut case with reverse gilt painted door glass that reads Old Coon Cigars, The Standard Brand. In good condition. 19 in. high x 10 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Counter Top Advertising Clock/Cigar Cutter: In an all metal case with a set key wind movement; a paper dial with 2nds bit, marked “Hale & Co. Jewelers”, and marked “885” on the clock frame. The cigar cutter top reads “Barnes, Smith & Co. Cigar Manufacturers, Binghampton, N.Y.”. The base has patent No. 567277 83 on it.
(The clock is not running at this time. The cigar cutter needs a Size 8 clock key to make it work. There is only a faint trace of color left on the letters of the cigar cutter.)

Brunhoff/Waterbury Cigar Cutter Clock: The clock was made by Waterbury for the Brunhoff Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio for use as their countertop cigar cutters. This one has an ad for CALSETTA under the glass surface. The clipper operates by turning a key on the back of the machine. There are match strikers on both sides. It is made of cast iron.
(The lower right front and side of the case are heavily pitted.)
