Original 12 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals on the chapter ring, Arabic numbers on the 31 date calendar ring outside and aperture cutout for the calendar month disc rotating behind the dial, signed TerryÂs Patent, Manufactured by the Ansonia Brass & Copper Co.; original open moon hands still show some bluing and polished brass date indicator with arrow pointer. Pierced brass spring driven movement, has hour strike count wheel mechanism with coiled gong, movement unsigned. In a rosewood case with round door bezel, drop section with serpentine side and teardrop finial. Case has an overcoated finish, original glasses and original dials, calendar disk has a varnished overcoat; original paper label in the back of the case, in good running condition.26 in. high x 16 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
E.N. Welch Eclipse Calendar Wall Regulator. Original 7 in. paper dial with black Roman hour numerals and 31 date calendar numbers outside, pierced black hands and black painted calendar indicator; brass 8 day single spring driven movement singed E.N. Welch Mfg. Co., Forestville, Ct, has a long wood pendulum stick and a brass covered bob. In a walnut case with carved and incised crest, side corbels and lower bracket, arched top door with original reverse gilt decorated glass which reads ÂEclipse RegulatorÂ. In good condition, has a minor split to one of the crest pieces, enhanced finish. 39 in. high x 15 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
