Ansonia Porcelain Crystal Regulator No. 4. Inset 4 in. porcelain dial has black hour numbers with exposed Brocot escapement and jeweled pallets, signed with Ansonia trade mark and has black hands and brass bezel; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed Ansonia Clock Co., has an half hour coiled gong rack & snail strike and 2 jar mercurial pendulum. In a porcelain case having domed top with lions head over a shell on the crest, scrolled feet and floral decorations on a pink background with gilt highlights; the body of the case has gilt brass mounted corners with filigree design, beveled glasses on the doors and sides. In very good running condition, top is loose, missing mounting screw. 17.75 in. high x 9.5 in. wide x 8 in. deep.
