Inset 4 in. porcelain dial has black hour numbers with exposed Brocot escapement and jeweled pallets, signed with Ansonia trade mark and has black hands and brass bezel; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed Ansonia Clock Co., has an half hour coiled gong rack & snail strike and 2 jar mercurial pendulum. In a porcelain case having a swirling filigree decorated top with painted winged putti and pink roses on the panels, base has scrolled feet and rose decorated panels on a pale blue and white background with gilt highlights; the body of the case has gilt brass mounted corners with filigree design, beveled glasses on the doors and sides.
