A late 19th century Ansonia "Opera" model mantel clock. 8-day time and strike movement with two part porcelains dial and visible escapement marked "Ansonia lock Co., Patented". Spelter figure with worn "Silver" patina and gilded detail on a Japanned Iron base with cast feet. Some surface wear, hairlines in dial, replaced pendulum, runs momentarily when cataloged. 16" high.
