Description

Ansonia Swing No.1 Bobbing Doll Clock. 3 in. bisque figure of a child seated on a swing acts as the pendulum bob for this clock, numbered 2844 on the bottom; the swing hangs from a frame at the top of the case, cast in white metal. 4 in. paper dial with black Roman hour numerals and black spade hands, signed with Ansonia trade mark; spring driven, time only one day movement, signed Ansonia Clock Co. and is contained in a fancy brass cylinder at the base. Clock is in good condition, spring winds and clock runs, the figure has a chip on the nose and the seat of the swing has a missing piece on the right side. 8 in. high
