Ansonia Figural Macbeth Mantle Clock. Beautiful elaborately decorated French rococo filigree case with figure of Shakespeare seated beside the clock tower, he holds a quill pen and a sheet of paper, a second sheet beside him reads ÂHamlet, MacbethÂ and the case has an overall gilt finish. 4 in. inset porcelain dial signed ÂAnsonia Clock Company, New YorkÂ, has black hour numbers and an exposed Brocot escapement; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂAnsonia Clock Co.Â has an half hour strike on a coiled gong.14.75 in. high x 16 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.

Ansonia “Virginia” Metal Case Clock w/Statue: With an unmarked 8 day T&S with 1/2 hour gong strike movement; an extra fancy metal dial with figural cherubs, cartouche Arabic numerals and visible escapement; the Ansonia “Opera” statue and is marked on the back.

Not tested.

(Even though there is no pendulum or key, the clock gongs. The black wood on the base has been repainted or touched up.)

Circa 1900 American New Haven Clock Company 8 Day Mantel Clock with 5″ Original unsigned flat enamel dial with hairlines, Spring driven brass movement with gong strike and open escapement, Heavy Belgium black marble case with figured marble inset panels with gilt incised decorative work and dark spelter warrior figure seated above. Good condition with minor flaws, warrior missing his sword blade and few flakes on base at corners. Needs cleaning. 22″H x 19.5″W x 6.5″D
