Ansonia Porcelain Crystal Regulator No. 5. 4″ inset porcelain dial signed with the Ansonia trade mark, has black hour numbers, black hands and exposed Brocot escapement with jeweled pallets; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “Ansonia Clock Co.” has a half hour rack and snail strike on a coiled gong and 2 jar faux mercurial pendulum. In a brass crystal regulator case with colorful luster porcelain top and bottom, unsigned, attr. Royal Bonn. Good overall condition, with no repair or damage to the porcelain, running and striking. 17.5″ high x 8.75″ wide x 7.75″ deep. Weight: 12.25 lbs.

Typical Ansonia 8 day spring driven movement signed Ansonia Clock Co, strikes on a single coiled gong. In a crystal regulator case with Royal Bonn Porcelain top and bottom in luster green with gold highlights; the body of the case has beveled glass and gilt brass framing; case is unsigned. In good condition with no breaks, cracks, chips or hairlines in the case or glass, movement is running and striking. 17 in. high x 9 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.
