Ansonia Drop Extra Rosewood Calendar Clock. Large 12 in. original painted metal dial signed ÂTerryÂs Patent, Manufactured by the Ansonia Brass & Copper Co., Ansonia, Conn.Â, has black Roman hour numerals and 31 date calendar numbers outside, has an aperture cutout exposing the repainted 5.25 in. dial calendar disc with days of the month, brass sweep calendar hand and blued open moon hour and minute hands. Brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂAnsonia Clock Co., Ansonia, Conn. has a half hour strike on a coiled gong. In a rosewood ÂDrop Extra case with round door bezel, serpentine carved waist with turned finials and reverse painted black and gilt original tablet; case in good condition with a French polished finish, signed on a paper label ÂAnsonia Brass & Copper Co.Â. 26 in. high x 16 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep. Weight: 9.5 lbs.

Ansonia Drop Extra Calendar Wall Clock. Original 12 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals on the chapter ring, Arabic numbers on the 31 date calendar ring outside and aperture cutout for the calendar month disc rotating behind the dial, signed TerryÂs Patent, Manufactured by the Ansonia Brass & Copper Co.; original open moon hands still show some bluing and polished brass date indicator with arrow pointer. Pierced brass spring driven movement, has hour strike count wheel mechanism with coiled gong, movement unsigned. In a rosewood case with round door bezel, drop section with serpentine side and teardrop finial. Case has an overcoated finish, original glasses and original dials, calendar disk has a varnished overcoat; original paper label in the back of the case, in good running condition.26 in. high x 16 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Galusha Octagon Drop Calendar Regulator. 12 in. painted metal dial, comprised of 3 discs, the front disc contains the chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and outer ring with 31 date calendar signed Âpatented by Galusha Maranville has cutouts for the second disc containing the sequential days of the week with Sunday highlighted in red and a cutout at the top exposing the months; the red date indicator moves automatically while the clock is running and the rear dials are manually adjusted at each months end, dials have some typical wear from age. Has a brass 8 day movement with recoil escapement, hour strike on a coiled gong, brass covered pendulum bob, paper label on the back of the case reads ÂManufactured for N.C. Hyde & Co. by Gilbert Manufacturing CompanyÂ. In a rosewood case with octagonal top, brass door bezel and chamfered drop section having leaf carved corbels and reverse painted door glass; enhanced original finish. 24.5 in. high x 17 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
