Ansonia Gloria Swinging Ball Clock. Standing winged figure of Gloria on a globe, holding a lyre in on hand and the swinging ball pendulum in the other hand; has a nice original 2 tone finish on white metal. The gridiron pendulum is 25 in. long, the spring driven 8 day movement is contained within the top sphere of the pendulum behind the dial with applied brass hour numbers; the sphere has a medium brown finish with gilt fittings, movement signed Ansonia Clock Co. In very good, clean condition having a nice clean original finish. 28.5 in. high.

The statue and base stamped, “Par Aug. Moreau ‘Fleurs de Prentemps.’ ” The swing arm and movement stamped, “R1979.” 37″H x 12″Dia., Circa – 1900.
