GERMAN ROYAL BONN “LA MARNE” CASED ANSONIA MANTEL CLOCK, ivory with green shading and rose transfer decoration, molded case with scroll and floral pattern supported by five short feet, clock face with stylized Neo-Grecian enamel numerals and running gear, back with red stamp maker’s mark and “LA Marne” below brass sliding door, pendulum and key. Brass clockworks marked “ANSONIA CLOCK CO. / PATENTED JUNE 14.61/ NEW YORK . U.S.A.”, lower left “PATENTED JUNE 18, 1862”. Late 19th/early 20th century. 14 1/16″ H.
