American. 1900s. Soft wood. 8-day spring driven time, strike and calendar movement. Displays the day of the month within the outer chapter of the dial. Marked by the maker, "Ansonia" on the dial. Refinished. Replaced dial. This clock was running at the time of cataloguing, but its service history is unknown. From the Skip Kerr Collection. 30.5"H X 30.5"W X 6.5"'D.

A late 19th century Ansonia "8-day Lever" model gallery clock. 8-day dual spring time only movement with lever escapement, papered dial and Roman numerals. Octagonal carved Oak case with molded design. Older finish with some wear, dial discolorations, running when cataloged. 9 1/4" diameter. ESTIMATE $100-200

A late 19th century New Haven “Lever Time Calendar” Gallery clock. 8-day time only double spring movement with lever escapement and simple calendar. Octagonal Rosewood case. Original finish with minor veneer loss, dial discoloration. 11″ high.

French 5 Dial Calendar Gallery Clock: With a TO #289 movement; a celluloid dial marked “A. Guilbeaud FJ St. Antoine 76”; plus a dial for the month, day, date and year. Also, the case is marked “A.G. Brevete de 15 Ans Paris” inside on the wood.
Not tested.
(The case has some roughness near the hinges.) 17″ Tall x 16″ Wide

RARE! Curtisville Calendar Clock Co. Gallery: Has a metal painted dial marked “Calendar Clock Co., Curtisville, Connecticut Patented Sept. 19, 1854” with Roman numeral time dial, Arabic number date dial; in a large painted wood frame overlaid w/ plaster of Paris formed into floral designs; with gold leaf and blue paint.
Has early upper movement w/ inverted verge, but is not correct. Has no lower movements or working calendar parts. You are buying a very scarce case and dial. You complete the clock yourself. It’s a great example of a early calendar gallery clock.
