Ansonia Fortuna Swinging Arm Clock. Standing figure of the goddess of fortune floating among the wind with her light garments blowing, she is accompanied by a small cherub. Her left hand holds a torch on which the clock hangs from a crossed suspension; the long gridiron pendulum is mounted with a spherical bob at the bottom and cylindrical dial at the top encasing the spring driven movement, signed with the Ansonia Clock Co. trade mark; the dial has applied silvered hour numerals and gilt pierced filigree hands. Original finish on the sculpture is worn. 32 in. high.
