(Running, but not striking. The interior bottom of the case is scarred up some.)

Welch, Spring & Company “Patti V.P.” Rosewood Shelf Clock, Forestville, Connecticut, c. 1880, the “Baby Patti” case form with turned finials and three-quarter columns on a molded base, printed paper Roman numeral dial with moon hands, gilt transfer decoration of glass, thirty-hour dual wind time only movement with pendulum, ht. 10 1/2 in.

E.N. Welch Patti V.P. Rosewood Mantle Clock. High quality rosewood case in good enhanced original finish and decorated door glass. “Patti V.P.” label on the back. The original 5 in. dial with black Roman hour numerals, blued pierced trefoil hands; early version brass 8 day spring driven movement with pierced X style plates, hour strike on a silvered bell and fancy Patti pendulum, with glass insert. Partial original paper Patti V.P. label on the back, center finial has a minor repair and one rosette has a small chip, very nice & working condition. 19 in. high x 12 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

(The clock does not have the correct movement in it. The clock runs for a few minutes and then stops. It strikes on the 1/2 hour only.)
