American Mahogany Banjo Clock. 7.5 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals and quality blued hands; typical brass 8 day weight driven time only movement with T-bridge suspension, long steel pendulum rod, brass covered bob, lead weight and solid brass pulley. In an inlaid mahogany case with gilt turned finial, brass door bezel around the dial, pierced brass side arms and reverse painted throat glass and tablet; case has a split in the back board which is loose, repair to bezel hinge, enhanced original finish, repainted original glasses. 33 in. high x 10 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.Weight: 16.75 lbs.

American Mahogany Banjo Clock. 7 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals and original blued hands; typical brass 8 day weight driven time only banjo clock movement has a lead weight, brass pulley and brass pendulum bob with steel rod. In a mahogany banjo style case with gilt brass eagle finial, door bezel and pierced side arms; original reverse painted throat glass has a tan background with gilt filigree over red and the original reverse painted lower door glass depicts ÂPerryÂs VictoryÂ. In good overall condition, original finish, dial has some inpainting, dial glass in replaced, case stamped with numbers Â916Â. 31.5 in. high x 10 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
