case circa 1800, stained pine and other mixed woods with brass mounts, now fitted with a later brass and silvered dial with Arabic chapter ring, date sweep, and moon phase, brass eight day movement, with pendulum, two weights, and winder, 94 x 21-1/2 x 12 in.

A fine Federal tall case clock, whose case, of dense and dark solid mahogany, is inlaid with shells, star, etc and line inlay, all standing on bracket feet The dial is believed to be from the shop of Nolan & Curtis, and there is an eight day bell strike movement. Probably New Jersey or New York, ca 1790-1810. 97″ in overall height without brass finial.
