Japy Freres French Bronze Mantle Clock. 4 in. bronze dial with a copper tone, has incised Roman hour numerals, fancy gilt hands and brass bezel with beveled door glass; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement is signed Japy Freres and has an half hour strike on a steel bell. In a bronze case with figural robed maiden side columns in front of scrolling corbels and gilt highlights. Case has a replaced top finial and a lacquered finish. 17 in. high x 12 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

Porcelain dial has a 2.25 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, open club hands and sub alarm dial; brass, spring driven movement strikes the hour on a silvered bell with hour repeater button on the top of the case, lever & platform escapement, movement does not run. In a heavy dore bronze case with standing figures on the corners, swirling leaf borders and a double figural handle; beveled glasses on 4 sides and the top. Movement is signed Japy Freres & Cie. 1855 Exposition, Grande Med. D’ Honneur. 8 in. high x 5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

French carriage clock signed “Aiguilles” with a polished brass case and enameled guilloche panels, one hour repeating movement with alarm having lever platform escapement, cracks in the guilloche mostly on the left panel, one screw missing from platform, runs for 10-15 minutes and stops, strike and repeater functional, alarm not working. 5.5 in. high x 3.25 in. wide by 3 in. deep.
